    Touching the Earth
    Ceramics grounded in place.

Unique and produced using local clays, found objects and ash glazes, the objects John makes are connected to the locality where he lives and works.  Ash sourced from local farm hedge trimmings, clay from road excavations or river beds and beachcombed objects are the creative pallet applied with an aesthetic directly linked to Leach and the oriental Japanese traditions.
